Silk Road - New York, Turkey
In the mid Nineties Blackstock was commissioned by a New York based architectural interior design company to create a full-size custom backgammon game leather floor. The leather floor Installation was within a private 100,000 square foot summer residence on the coast of the Bosporus Strait in Turkey.
Sophistication. Elegance. Inviting.
Blackstock Leather was selected as the vendor of choice due to their capabilities to use a custom manufacturing process. The leather floor tiles were installed by local craftsmen in approximately three to four days. The results of the installation speak for themselves - sophisticated & elegant looking. The aroma of the leather floor tiles provides a warm and inviting atmosphere. The client was extremely satisfied with the end result.
